VYO Spiritual leader Yuva Vaishanvacharya Pujya Goswami 108 Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri persuades a one of the Indian entertainment serial to stop the misrepresentation and false characterization of Pushtimarga’s eternal Guru Shrimad Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji.
Lately, in the Indian television industry, there has been a tremendous amount of competition amongst the various television channels. To attract a large number of audience, the channels have sunk so low by using unsuitable language, ideas and characters.
In the television serial “Diya Aur Baati”, the producers of the show had named one of the characters who played a role of a deceitful guru as “Vallabhacharya”. Vaishnav viewers in India and worldwide were shocked and outraged that Jagadguru Shrimad Vallabhacharya Mahaprabhuji’s name was used in this manner.
Concerned about the seriousness of this issue, HDH Yuva Vaishnavacharya Goswami 108 Shri Vrajrajkumarji Mahodayshri intervened and strongly expressed his concern and opposition to the producers of the show. He urged them to immediately change the name of the character and never to repeat this mistake in the future.
Respecting Pujya Jejeshri’s concern, the television producers took the matter seriously and agreed to comply with his wishes and promised to change the character.
Pujya Jejeshri’s vision and actions are always for the upliftment of Pushtimarga and he is constantly concerned about the welfare of the Sampraday.
